Birdhouse

Do you hear the birds chirping?

Isn't it wonderful?
What are they telling each other?

Do you see the birdhouses hanging in the trees? Native birds use the houses to build nests, hatch their eggs and raise the little birds.

The breeding and rearing period runs from March to October, depending on the species.

When they are not using the houses for breeding or raising small birds, they also like to use them as roosting places.
